This course explores the complex relationships between core parenchymal organs (the heart, liver, pancreas, lungs, and kidneys) and gastrointestinal function in biomedicine. The content systematically analyzes the pathophysiological mechanisms by which these organs contribute to diarrhea and constipation through neural reflexes, endocrine regulation, metabolic disturbances, etc.The course will examine in detail how organ-related disorders affect gastrointestinal function, including bile acid metabolism abnormalities in hepatogenic diarrhea, hemodynamic changes in cardiogenic constipation, etc. This course facilitates the differential diagnosis of gastrointestinal symptoms from a multi-system perspective.
