This course provides a systematic approach to treating lower back pain using integrated Traditional Chinese Medicine methods. The course covers pattern differentiation for several types of lower back pain, including discogenic lower back pain, lumbar muscle strain, acute lumbar sprain, lumbar spinal stenosis, senile osteoporosis, etc. It also includes female lower back pain related to postpartum, menopause, gynecological organ dysfunction, etc. The course discusses the pathogenesis, pattern differentiation,and treatment methods for lower back pain, including Balance Acupuncture, moxibustion, etc. Classical TCM theories and acupuncture treatments for lower back pain will also be presented.
