This course presents the TCM understanding and acupuncture treatment strategies for Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). IBS falls within the TCM categories of "Abdominal Pain," "Diarrhea," "Constipation ", "Depression ", etc." The course provides in-depth analysis of core pathogenetic mechanisms, including Wood overacting on Earth, Spleen Deficiency with Dampness, etc. Building on this foundation, it discusses point selection strategies based on pattern differentiation. Various acupuncture approaches are explained, including foundational needling protocols, moxibustion techniques, and Five Element acupuncture. The course also explores classical point compatibility theories such as Back Shu-Front Mu and He-Mu point combinations.
