This course will discuss different types of pain caused by excessive and deficient pathogens such as dampness, heat, and blood stasis, deficient essence, blood with cold congealing. etc. This course will discuss the mechanism, accompanying symptoms, and treatment principle for different types of pain in excess and deficiency syndromes. This course will also present acupuncture points and the herbal formulas selected for excessive and deficient pain syndromes.
